Evaluation Version

Downloading the evaluation version of S・NAP-Pro, S・NAP-Design, and S・NAP-Field>

This Evaluation version can be used for sixty days starting from the time of installation or until the number of start-ups of the simulator exceeds three hundred times. 

■ Limitations on function of the evaluation version of S・NAP-Pro

·  Only linear analysis is available.

·  Any given circuit can be analyzed.

·  The maximum number of nodes is twenty.

·  The number of elements is 15 or less (the number of lines when developing the net list during simulation and the number of elements when storing with the circuit editor are applicable).

·  The optimized number of bands is three or less.

·  The optimized number of goals is three or less.

·  The optimized number of variables is four or less.

·  The available elements are as follows;

Inductor, capacitor, resistor, transformer, impedance, admittance, electrical length transmission line, electrical length coupling line, electrical length open stub, micro strip line, micro strip open stub, two line edge coupling micro strip, one end open edge coupling micro strip line (BPF), micro strip step, strip line, strip open stub, two line edge coupling strip, one end open edge coupling strip line (BPF), coaxial line, ideal transformer, coupling inductor, physical transformer, linear control power source, various power sources

■ Limitations of functions of evaluation version of S・NAP-Design

·  The frequency range at which design can be conducted is limited with the evaluation version.

·  Design can be conducted in the ranges of 1.2 GHz to 1.3 GHz and 1 KHz to 2 KHz.

·  Design using Tee junction is enabled, however, simulation cannot be conducted due to limitations on functions of the evaluation version of the simulator.  Therefore, uncheck Tee junction for the stub model.

■ Limitations of functions of evaluation version of S・NAP-Field

·  Setting of the printed board is only single layer.  Therefore, although micro strip and strip line (tri-plate) can be analyzed, those having patterns on double sides and printed boards having three or more layers cannot be simulated.  However, leading from the center of the spiral coil is enabled because the parts such as the jumper line and the like can be used as the circuit element.

·  Resolution (number of grids) of the printed board is up to 64 x 64.

·  The matrix size is 500 or less.

·  The mountable number of elements is ten or less.

·  The port can only be installed at the edge of the printed board, and cannot be set inside.
